Lionsgate and Dish Network, which now owns Blockbuster, have settled their issues.
"Lionsgate and Dish have amicably resolved our issues related to the revenue sharing of our previously-placed packaged media titles at Blockbuster," a Lionsgate spokesman said Friday night. "We look forward to continuing a productive, long-term business relationship with Dish and their Blockbuster affiliate in the future."
Earlier on Friday, Lionsgate filed a motion for reconsideration of a bankruptcy judge's approval of the sale of Blockbuster to Dish, saying the studio was owed money for rental titles it has delivered under a revenue sharing agreement.
The studio had argued that Blockbuster had been using a handful of DVDs and online titles for free, including The Expendables, Saw 3D: The Final Chapter and The Last Exorcism.
Bankruptcy court judge Burton Lifland had approved the sale of Blockbuster to Dish for about $320 million, with the satellite TV company closing on Tuesday.
