Octomom to Keep Her Kids ... According to Octomom

Octomom's 14 children will not be taken away from her because she is a fine mother and doing an exemplary job ... according to Nadya Suleman herself.

The Orange County Department of Children and Family Services came to her house on Thursday to investigate claims of her children living in putrid squalor.

According to Octo, they gave her a "clean bill of health."

Three DCFS workers showed up at Nadya Suleman's Orange County home, and she says they gave her a rave review ... despite the shocking living conditions.

Octo told TMZ, "[DCFS] said it's a very suitable environment for these children."

Even crazier, Octo claims DCFS workers were actually impressed with her parenting skills, saying "They can't even believe that I can do what I've been doing."

You know, we could say the same, though in an entirely different context.

Is this woman delusional? They couldn't possibly have said that, right? Octomom did have a four-person cleaning crew show up prior to DCFS' arrival, so it's likely the place was not as bad as when her hairstylist blew the whistle.

Still, it's gotta be a madhouse, and she has no way of supporting a family that size. It's well established. So should Octomom's kids be taken away?

Google Maps 'Cube' game rolls out, back, up, back again

Google Maps 'Cube' game rolls out, back, up, back again

Cast your mind back to January if you will. Head full of steamy CES action? Of course, but you may also remember Google teased us about a new tilt-and-roll Maps game. Well, it looks like the creators may have missed the original February deadline, having finally snuck it out this week. The browser-based game is a series of maze challenges, that'll take you through the streets of San Francisco, downtown Tokyo and beyond. All atop Google's iconic 3D textured maps, naturally. Eight levels in total are on offer, making it an ideal lunchtime -- or if the boss is away -- afternoon time kill. Roll down to the source link below to give it a spin, nudge and roll.

ASUS Zenbook Primes with 1080p IPS panels and (probably) Ivy Bridge are real, coming to Taiwan in June

Refreshed ASUS Zenbooks with 1080p IPS panels and (probably) Ivy Bridge are real, coming to Taiwan in June

We've already seen spec sheets suggesting that ASUS's 11.6-inch and 13.3-inch Zenbooks are being fattened up for a major update, but now Engadget Chinese has glimpsed the new devices in their cold aluminum flesh. Tentatively called Zenbook Primes, or the UX21A and UX31A respectively, they both have 1920 x 1080 IPS panels with a matte finish and excellent viewing angles (please, ignore the dumb 1024 x 768 screen-saver in the pic, it doesn't do it justice). Judging from the fact that ASUS refused to let us go hands-on in case we identify the internals, we can be pretty confident that these beauties are running on next-gen ULV Ivy Bridge processors, which -- unlike their more powerful brethren -- have yet to be formally announced. We asked if there'd be room for discrete graphics, such as one of NVIDIA's new Kepler mobile GPUs for Ultrabooks, and were told that "anything is possible." Responses were equally vague when it came to global availability, because apparently the devices are awaiting clearance from Intel. All we know is that they should be out in Taiwan in June, likely with similar price tags to their predecessors.

Lauren Conrad's Pink Hair: Fan? Not a Fan?

Lauren Conrad showed up to a signing of her latest young adult novel, The Fame Game, last night at The Grove in Los Angeles, sporting a surprising new hairstyle.

Or hair color, to be more specific.

Gone are LC's trademark long, blonde locks ... at least the bottom third of them. The back of her head was hot pink! This has become quite the hairstyle trend of late.

From Katy Perry to Diana Agron, Willow Smith to Britney Spears and even Amanda Bynes' mug shot, everybody's thinking pink. Tell us if you like LC's new look below:

Presenting: Guess the Celebrity Twit Pic!

A very well-known young woman took it easy this week and posted a photo of herself relaxing on Twitter. Can you guess who it is, based solely on a shot of her legs?

Miley Cyrus Twit Pic

The Twitter user in question is...

... MILEY CYRUS!

Indeed, the singer/actress Tweeted the image above on Monday, adding the following caption to the photo:

As you can see i have a very busy Monday ;)

Miley probably wishes that were true, that she could perhaps be out promoting a movie. But it was announced this week that LOL - in which Cyrus stars opposite Demi Moore - will only open in seven cities across the nation. Ouch. Tough break.

The star, meanwhile, looks to be taking a new, laid back approach to Twitter. She has gotten in trouble in the past for expressing certain views over the social network, most recently when fans took issue with what they perceived to be a diss of Jesus Christ.
