Dissident MHC Residents Want New Government | Daily Business ...

Following another story from Sept 23, 2011, residents of problem-besotted Edgeway Mobile Home Park in Middleboro, Massachusetts seek to replace the Town Selectmen with a rent control board to govern the operations of MHCs, according to SouthCoastToday. The license for Edgeway owner Cory Farcas was revoked in 2004 for health and safety violations. Following complaints, public hearings and court hearings, stops and starts, Farcas last year agreed to improvements, and the Board of Selectmen, now wary of Farcas, will review the progress of the work Monday, April 23, 2012. MHProNews.com understands the Selectmen are not interested in replacing themselves with a separate rent control board.
