The 3 Keys To Permanent Weight Loss | Fairfax VA Personal Trainer ...

My Office is a MESS

But what does this exactly mean to you? Well, this reminds me of something VERY important?.

When it comes to success with weight loss, you have to realize that if you aren?t organized then it?s going to be bumpy moving towards your goal and you will most likely be unsuccessful.

Trust me, I used to just ?wing it? when I was walking around with those 30 extra pounds for years.

Needless to say, I did NOT lose any weight for a very long time.

Sure, you can learn the basics on what you should and shouldn?t eat?but if you live any sort of hectic lifestyle between work, family and friends (which we ALL do) you will have some major road bumps

There?s a few things you need to organize if you want to really hit your goals or anywhere near them?

Organization Rule #1 Your Schedule

If you can?t carve out meal times and workout times in your own schedule, then you?re in big trouble. This is NOT me saying you can?t be successful?.you need to fuel your fire deep down and put your weight loss goals at the TOP of your mind. You?ll always crumble to pressure from friends and tasty foods in front of you if you don?t do this!

Organization Rule #2 Your Meals

Learning how to eat healthier is NOT that difficult. Ever heard of the books Eat This Not That? Making those substitutions alone will have a positive impact on your health and body. The thing is, if you don?t put the slightest bit of effort into PRE planning your meals to some level then you will never get the results you want. Learn the basics on eating for weight loss then start to plug away at things ASAP!

By following #1 and locking down your schedule, you can roll out #2 and plug in your meals to match it. Trust me, there?s PLENTY of super busy people in this world that still manage to eat healthy consistently through crazy 60 hour work weeks with family and friends consuming their remaining time!

Organization Rule #3 Your Workouts

Surprisingly enough, I see a percentage of my clients that get what I consider to be the hard part correct ? that being nutrition. It always baffles me when I see full dedication (and organization) on the first two, but I see workouts being put on the backburner. This is probably because you can get results in the short term from just rolling out the first two parts to organization. The real secret to making your workouts work for YOU where you?re not dragging through them is to by following the first two pieces of the organization rules and finding when your energy levels are at their HIGHEST.

I for example am quite lucky with my odd schedule ? I can workout between 10am-3pm most days which I feel fantastic during. You may be a ?9 to 5?er? which most likely leaves you EARLY mornings or late evenings. I find that if you?re on your own and can be somewhat of a morning person, then you?ll start your day off on a fantastic foot. However if you have a personal trainer, I would suggest either ? the motivation and accountability will help you push through the sluggish times!

That?s it?.the 3 simple steps to organizing your weight loss plan. I?m sure at times it feels more difficult than this but try it and let me know what you think. You?d be surprised how easy this all is once you apply these simple steps!
