PACMan ROM for the Samsung Galaxy Nexus

PACMan ROM for the Samsung Galaxy Nexus

As PACMan continues to spread like wildfire, users are starting to embrace the ROM?s unofficial motto: ?Why choose when you can have it all?? For those who are still unfamiliar, PACMan ROM is a kang ROM that combines the best features of CM10, AOKP, and ParanoidAndroid. Since it was first released, it?s been gaining momentum. Now, Samsung Galaxy Nexus owners can get in on the fun.

XDA Senior Member [vertigo] has released the AOSP kang for the Galaxy Nexus. As one would expect, it has features from the three biggest AOSP-based ROMs. This includes CM10 settings, AOKP Settings, and ParanoidAndroid settings?plus all the interconnected cherry picks you could ever wants.

For most devices, there are usually some bugs due to the lack of proprietary binaries that are compatible with AOSP. The Galaxy Nexus obviously doesn?t suffer from these issues, so there are virtually no bugs to speak of. However, the ParanoidAndroid crew have asked that the ParanoidPreferences.apk be taken out of the ROM. It can be grabbed from any ParanoidAndroid ROM, though, so it isn?t that big of a deal. Also, this is only for the GSM version of the Galaxy Nexus. The Verizon and Sprint versions have to wait just a little longer.
